Cambridge B2 First Preparation Exam Preparation (previously FCE)

B2 First is an international qualification officially recognised by thousands of employers, universities and government departments. It is for students at Upper Intermediate level, covering reading and use of English, writing, listening and speaking. Achievement of the B2 First proves that individuals can: communicate effectively face-to-face, expressing opinions and presenting arguments; follow the news; write clear, detailed English, expressing opinions and explaining the advantages and disadvantages of different points of view; and write letters, reports, stories and lots of other types of communications.

After obtaining the B2 First, students can move on to prepare for the C1 Advanced, the next highest Cambridge qualification. The Cambridge ESOL website provides more detailed information about B2

We shall help you prepare for the four parts of the test - Reading and Use of English; Writing; Listening; and Speaking - and you’ll learn special techniques to help you improve your performance in the exam. Our teachers will also organise practice tests to monitor your development and advise you when you are ready to take the exam.

Cambridge B2 First Preparation Exam preparation

This is a 4 hour per week, one to one tuition course which runs Monday to Thursday 1.15pm-2.15pm or 1.45pm-3.45pm. This course runs all year round.

  • Course length 1-3 weeks - £140 per week
  • Course length 4-11 weeks - £135 per week
  • Course length 12 weeks or more - £130 per week

 

Cambridge B2 First Preparation Exam preparation and General English 15

This course combines the B2 First Prepartion Exam preparation course above with General English 15.  The course runs from Monday to Friday 9.00am to 12.15pm and Monday to Thursday 1.15pm-2.15pm.

  • Course length 1-3 weeks - £305 per week
  • Course length 4-11 weeks - £295 per week
  • Course length 12 weeks or more - £285 per week

 

Cambridge B2 First Preparation Exam preparation and General English 20

This course combines the B2 First Preparation Exam preparation course above with General English 20.  The course runs from Monday to Friday 9.00am to 12.15pm and Monday to Thursday 1.15pm-2.30pm and 2.45pm-3.45pm.

  • Course length 1-3 weeks - £390 per week
  • Course length 4-11 weeks - £375 per week
  • Course length 12 weeks or more - £360 per week

 

 

 

You can sit the Cambridge B2 First preparation examination, which can either be  paper-based or computer-based, all over the world. The Reading and Use of English, Writing and Listening papers are taken on the same day, however your centre will arrange the date for your Speaking test. To take your exam, you will need to register directly with an authorised exam centre. There are over 2,800 centres in 130 countries around the world.
