Before travelling to the UK it is important that you understand what kind of visa you require and what this allows you to do in the UK. The government department that deals with visas is called UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI)
They have produced the following presentation which explains what is involved in applying for a visa to study in the UK.
The PDF below has also been produced by UKVI and explains the process of applying for a Tier 4 Student Visa. Global School of English is a recognised by UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) as a branch of Glasgow School of English under Tier 4 Sponsor Licence number 18EC8KTJ1 and is licensed to bring students into the UK on General Student Visas.
If you are intending to visit the UK for a reason other than study the following PDF has been produced by UKVI and explains the process of applying for a General Visit Visa. If you come to the UK on a General Visit Visa you are entitled to study for up to 30 days as long as the study is "incidental" and is not the main purpose of your visit.
More detail about the UK visa process and student visas can be found at the following UK Government website www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration/student-visas.
The PDF file below identifies the nationalities that require a visa to travel to the UK. These individuals are known as "Visa Nationals" under the UK visa system
The Student Assessment Questionnaire PDF below is a document that we require certain visa applicants to complete as part of their application process. Please see the How Do I Apply for a Course? page
